If you are the kind of guitar players who prefers using stomp-box pedals only for effects, the PB-600 from Behringer is one of the best pedalboards you can get to cover your needs.

Although we are talking about a budget-oriented company, this item is surprisingly high-end in all aspects, going from build quality to integrated and nicely organized electronics and wiring. Body

The manufacturer opted for a plastic casing to allow a solid price cut, but still did a stellar job by incorporating heavy-duty, ultra-rigid materials that do a fine job in protecting the pedals, all while looking classy, sleek and elegant.

Conceived and designed in Germany, the board comes with a size of 4.5 x 26.1 x 12.9 inches, weighing in at 8.4 pounds. There's room for six 2.5 x 4.5 inch pedals; while the space has been optimized for Behringer goods, the company was of course clever enough to make the device suitable for ANY standard stomp-box that matched the listed standardized size.

The craftsmanship is on high level, all the nuts and bolts are securely in their position and the casing gives a feeling of a strong and sturdy item that you can trust your pedals to. It might be plastic, but it's still top of the line stuff.

Hardware

In our humble opinion, the hardware department is the selling point of the PB-600. The electronic section and wiring have been sorted out very well. Not only are they secure and reliable, but very easy to use too. All input, output and power jacks are conveniently located, elegantly designed and properly covered.

A lot of cables and power supplies have been included in the mix as well. The manufacturer dropped in a generous 1.7 A power adapter that can power up to 12 devices. While that is more stomp-boxes that can fit the board in the first place, all the excess power means that you will not have to worry about overloads, audio crackle or any of that bad stuff.

The mix also includes a daisy-chain cabling system for six pedals. This means that a portion of necessary cables has been covered, but you will still have to worry about connecting the pedals between each other, as well as hooking up the pedalboard to your instrument and the amp.

A frequent question about this pedal is – “Can Boss pedals fit?” – and the answer is yes, absolutely. Apart from that, the product comes with a 3-year warranty.

Value/Conclusion

For the listed price, this is a very solid deal and one of the best choices you can make as far as pedalboards under $200 go. The crucial thing to take into consideration here is that only stomp-boxes fit, so no long pedals allowed.

There's still plenty of room for the majority of effects available on the market, and we have to say that we haven’t seen pedals tucked in this nicely on many other boards.
