Fender’s reach knows no bounds, offering tremendous value and formidable presence on every corner of the market. This acoustic gem comes in a package deal, presenting a couple of extra accessories to get you going on your guitar journey as smooth as possible; strap, picks and an extra pair of strings – which definitely prove their worth.
A lot of beginners are known for recklessly damaging their first pair. If this happens to you, don’t worry, you’re not the only one… as it is only part of the process. The instrument itself sports a classic design with six steel strings going through its body and neck.
The instrument’s dreadnought body shape allows for an ample tonal spectrum, paired up with its strings results in a combination which smoothly transfers your play intention into a wonderful melody sending a clear and concise message. The guitar packs a laminated spruce top with a black pickguard, as well as laminated basswood back and sides with a sleek gloss finish.
The wood might not be top quality, but we’re talking about an under 100$ Fender gitbox here, the sound more than makes up for it. The basswood neck comes with an identical gloss finish on a scale of 25.3 inches. The rosewood fingerboard has a radius of 11.81 inches, and it’s rigged with 20 frets, dot inlays and a synthetic bone nut with 1.69 inches width.
This acoustic jewel is rounded off by its Squier headstock equipped with six diecast tuning machines. The guitar’s chrome hardware is continued by its rosewood bridge with compensated synthetic bone saddles.
Squier models have a reputation to amaze with their affordable guitars. The SA-50 continues in the same fashion. A lot of beginners don’t like being limited by their instrument when improving and experimenting, that’s why this fiddle is a fantastic choice. The instrument’s body construction allows for recreation of any style and genre that comes to mind. The quality of the sound comes on par with 200-300$ gits, and if you didn’t know any better you’d have trouble distinguishing them.
All in all, this is an excellent which you’ll find no complaints with. The strings and tuners are of good quality and easy to set up, the body sports comfort and playability. For just under 100$ you get a full package that contains everything you need when starting out.
